Today we got Mrs Taaffe to come in again, we told her the evidence that we had found. After we had told her all of the evidence she confessed to taking the HDMI cable and a few chocolates. But she said that she grabbed the HDMI cable because her chrome cast wasn't working and while she was grabbing it she got some chocolates as well. The reason that she hid behind the bushes was to see if the door had shut fully, and the reason that she ran out, was because she thought someone was coming.

Athletics reflection.
On Tuesday it was athletics, I was quite nervous. For our first event, we did long jump, my first two jumps weren't very good but my last jump put me in third place behind Patrick and Alex. My least favorite event was the 200 and 100 meters because I'm not good at sprints. For high jump, I got 1.14 metres and I came third. For shotput I threw two 5.80m and I came third. I am good at middle distance and for the 800m I came 1st.

2020 Whetu crime scene.
When we came to school on Monday there was a crack in the door and some blood on the floor. we have to find out who broke in and stole the milky ways. So far we haven't found out much but we've had a look around the scene and now we are detectives. We have all made a detective badge with our avatar. We have also drawn out the scene and wrote down the things that we know. If we did that we got a badge. I think everyone has got a badge so far.

Whetū Workshops Reflection
During Term 2 and 3 the Whetū students have had the opportunity to be involved in a range of different workshops.
The workshop that I have enjoyed participating in the most has been the P.E. in Term 2, because I like to do active things.
The new learning that I have learnt is that if you do little drops of water on a coin the water will just get higher for a while and then fall after about 40-50 drops.
What I have most enjoyed about the workshops is that we can learn things that we didn’t already know.
I am interested in learning more about science because you are always learning new things about a variety of random topics.

Term 2 reflection.
My Term 2, 2020 Reflection
The new learning activity that I have enjoyed the most this term is the Maths Mystery because it is quite fun and I like solving problems like that.
Something that has challenged me this term has been the Matariki jigsaw puzzle because I don’t know much about Matariki.
The Whetu Challenge I enjoyed the most was the Tennis Ball Tower Challenge where we had to make a tower out of newspaper and sellotape to hold up a tennis ball. We worked in groups and we had to work together to get the best results.
The opt-in workshop I enjoyed the most was doing the P.E. in the hall because I like to do exercise and it is fun doing it.
An aim I have for my learning is to put more things on my blog every week and not just the must do’s. I don’t think that I have been putting enough on my blog lately.
