Egg Carton creation

EGG CARTON CREATION

This week for our Whetu Challenge we created something using egg cartons.

The hardest part was finishing because there wasn't much time to make it.

At the start, I was making a lizard but I didn't have time to finish so it turned into halves of a snake.

The part I most enjoyed was hot gluing everything together even though I burned myself.

I enjoyed this activity even though I burned myself and didn't have time to glue everything together.

Blog Challenge: My dream Bedroom.

This is my dream bedroom, The wall with the tv is the front wall and the wall with the bed is the back wall. The hardest part was making the background transparent because at the start I didn't know the there was a background remover app. The easiest part was doing the wall because I just made it on an app called Cool text generator. I would definitely want to have this as my room in real life.

Whetu challenge.

Whetu Challenge - Paper Planes

Today our challenge was to design an accurate paper plane. We were given a draft piece
of paper to trial and a good piece to use once we had tested the accuracy of it.

Before we started I thought this challenge was going to be hard because it was a small
place for it to land.

I decided to use the design of a small plane that was folded up heaps.

The hardest part was making the actual plane because I am not very good at making
things like that.

During our competition time, I managed to score 26 points, I got one in the hanger (20), one
on the 2 and one on the 4.

My word of the week.

This is my word of the week that I have done. The word was Bewildered. The hardest part was using it in a sentence and the easiest part was finding a picture because I just needed to go on images.

Tennis ball tower challenge.

Tennis Ball Tower Challenge

Today for our Whetu Challenge we worked in a group to build a tower out of newspaper,
2 straws, and sellotape. We needed to make our tower strong enough to hold a tennis
ball and be able to stand alone (not leaning on anything or needing support).

Today I worked with Christopher and Cody.

At first, we had trouble with sticking everything together with the tape.

The easiest thing was cutting the sellotape because it is thin.

The best part of our tower was that it was the 4th tallest out of all the other towers.

Our tower looked really skinny with some support at the top and a holder with a piece
of newspaper at the top.

In the end, it looked pretty cool although we couldn't balance a tennis ball on it.
