Whetū Workshops Reflection

During Term 2 and 3 the Whetū students have had the opportunity to be involved in a range of different workshops.

The workshop that I have enjoyed participating in the most has been the P.E. in Term 2, because I like to do active things.

The new learning that I have learnt is that if you do little drops of water on a coin the water will just get higher for a while and then fall after about 40-50 drops.

What I have most enjoyed about the workshops is that we can learn things that we didn’t already know.

I am interested in learning more about science because you are always learning new things about a variety of random topics.

Cross Country Reflection 2020.

This year I participated in the NPS Cross Country held at school on the Ngatea Domain.  I ran in the 11 year olds age group.

I am most proud of pushing myself hard and coming second because usually, I come third. I am also proud of making it to Hauraki plains.

I think my effort towards our training at school was really good because most days I did three or more laps of the track and I was running the whole time.

I showed the Learning Power of Resilience by Setting a fast pace at the start and trying to stay at it.

This is my Maths Mahi Investigation for this week. We had to make a 3D shape out of paper. I was one of the last people to get a shape so there was only dodecahedron and it was quite hard to make. The hardest part was making the shape and the easiest part was cutting it out even though that was pretty hard.
