Synthesis eggs.

These are the synthesis eggs. I did it about big beetles. We had to write what we already knew what we found out after reading an article about it and then what your new understanding was.

Sick sentences.

This is my sick sentences for this week.  For this, we had to write nouns and adjectives for the picture, and fix some sentences that weren't very good.

Word of the week.

This is my word of the week, the word was luminous. I had to find a picture to go with it, use the word in a sentence, write three synonyms, and write a definition. The hardest part was using it in a sentence because it was the first part that I did and the easiest part was finding a picture.

Maths Mystery.

This is The maths mystery that I did, this time it was a pancake thief. To do this I had to solve a lot of maths questions and after every question, I could cross some off. The culprit at the end was Seb

These are the synthesis eggs I did. It about fainting goats. We had to write what we already knew what we found out after reading an article about it and then what your new understanding was.

Blog Challenge.

This is my blog challenge for this week. We had to do what we would be like in 2030. The easiest part was doing my age and the hardest part was who I would still be friends with.

This week we did sick sentences but we used an owl looking at a wasp instead of the fish. we still had to do everything the same though. To see the slides click here.

Tennis ball tower challenge.

Tennis Ball Tower Challenge

Today for our Whetu Challenge we worked in a group to build a tower out of newspaper,
2 straws, and sellotape. We needed to make our tower strong enough to hold a tennis
ball and be able to stand alone (not leaning on anything or needing support).

Today I worked with Christopher and Cody.

At first, we had trouble with sticking everything together with the tape.

The easiest thing was cutting the sellotape because it is thin.

The best part of our tower was that it was the 4th tallest out of all the other towers.

Our tower looked really skinny with some support at the top and a holder with a piece
of newspaper at the top.

In the end, it looked pretty cool although we couldn't balance a tennis ball on it.

Sick Sentences.

This week we had to complete a sick sentences slide. First, we had to complete a noun slide then an adjectives slide, and at the end of the slides there were sick sentences slide that we had to make better. Click Here for the link to them.

This is my synthesis eggs task for writing. We had to do what we already knew about dinosaurs, the new information that we learned of dogo news and your new understanding of dinosaurs.

Week 8 blog challenge.

This is my week 8 blog challenge. We had to do a meet my pet on a google drawing I did Archie which is my dog. The easiest part was writing all of the things about him and the hardest part was getting Archie to look at the camera.
